AFLAC All American High School Baseball Classic

Following the success of the McDonald's All American Basketball Game on the hardcourt, Sports America partnered with AFLAC to launch the AFLAC Classic Baseball Game in 2002. Each summer, the top high school prospects come together to celebrate the game of baseball and showcase their talent. Through a partnership with Perfect Game, USA and an endorsement by Major League Baseball, the AFLAC Classic has become the marquee event for high school baseball players. So much so, that one out of every four players named to the AFLAC game has gone on to become a first round draft pick of Major League Baseball. National Selection Tour
The Aflac National Selection Tour is a multi-city tour that travels to the hometowns of the Aflac All-Americans to announce their official selection to the team. At each tour stop an Aflac representative presents the players with an official game jersey and a commemorative Mizuno bat. Aflac concluded the third year of the Tour in 2006, and it again was an incredibly successful initiative that helped generate awareness for the game and honor the nation’s top prep baseball players.

AFLAC Game Returns to San Diego This Summer
The 2007 edition of the AFLAC High School All American Baseball Classic will definitely have a San Diego feel to it, as Fallbrook's Clark Murphy and Valhalla's Ryan O'Sullivan were named to the game. The rest of the players selected to prep baseball’s most prestigious game won’t be announced until June 19th, so until then Clark and Ryan will be “forced” to satisfy media demands. This year’s tilt begins at noon on August 11th, 2007 at San Diego State's Tony Gwynn Stadium. For more information, click here: www.aflacallamerican.com
