National Quarterback Club Banquet

National Quarterback Club: In 1965, Bob Geoghan founded The Quarterback Club of Washington, D.C., a non-profit organization. In the past few years, he founded similar chapters in Baltimore (1995) and Houston (2002), all falling under the National Quarterback Club. Each chapter holds monthly luncheons with NFL players, culminating with annual Player-of-the-Year award dinners. The NQBC also features the acclaimed National Quarterback Awards Dinner which has included Peyton Manning, Rich Gannon, Jim Kelly, Brett Favre and John Elway in recent years. Good Samaritan High School All Star Football Game

Good Samaritan Bowl: The Good Samaritan Bowl was developed by Sports America to help bring awareness for Washington Redskins greats Art Monk and Charles Mann for their Good Samaritan Foundation, a nonprofit youth development organization with a focus on higher education and leadership development. The Good Samaritan Bowl features the top high school football players in the Mid-Atlantic area and will be played for the first time in the summer of 2005 at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. The event also features a special dinner celebration in December honoring the Art Monk Offensive Player-of-the-Year and the Charles Mann Defensive Player-of-the-Year award-winners.
