AAHSBC Post Game
SAN DIEGO – Proving that sportsmanship is at the heart of the makeup of Aflac All-Americans, the East and West squad shared a post game meal after a thrilling come-from-behind 5-4 victory by the East Saturday afternoon at San Diego State’s Tony Gwynn Stadium.
“Everybody here are friends,” said Tim Beckham (Griffin HS) of Griffin, Ga., the game’s Most Valuable Player. “We’ve been talking all week, but it has been in fun. We just wanted to break the jinx (of the East losing the past three games). We all had a good time.”
And that includes the West regardless of the outcome.
“We’ve all been together all week and we are all cool with each other,” said Taylor Jungmann (Rogers HS) of Temple, Texas. “Doing all the activities together really helped bring us all together. It was a great game.”
