Charities

Sports America partners with top athletes and sports personalities with leading corporations and charitable causes to host events nationwide. Sports America has helped raise over $10 million for charities nationwide including: Childrens Medical Center, The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins and Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Ronald McDonald House Charities

During Sports America’s 30-year association with the McDonald’s All American Basketball Games, we’ve helped raise more than $5 million for the local Ronald McDonald House Charities. We’ve very proud of this accomplishment and look forward to continuing this history of charitable giving. AFLAC All American High School Baseball Classic

Since the AFLAC High School All American Baseball Classic’s inception, charitable giving has played a large part in the event. Funds raised from the game have gone to pediatric cancer research facilities located in the host city. This year, all game proceeds will benefit San Diego’s Children’s Hospital and Health Center. Since 2003, the game has generated nearly $355,000 in donations for charity. For more information on AFLAC’s charitable giving, you can visit their website at: http://www.aflacallamerican.com.

National Quarterback Club Awards Dinner

The National Quarterback Club has always placed a premium on charitable giving and focuses on contributions to children’s charities. To date, more than $1.5 million has been raised and donated. A few of the past recipients have included: Denver Broncos Charities, Redskin Leadership Council, Boys and Girls Club, Children’s Hospital, Don Shula Breast Cancer Foundation, Leukemia Society, Ronald McDonald, Cystic Fibrosis House Charities Foundation. Most recently, the 2006 National Quarterback Club Awards Dinner benefited the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington, The Rock Foundation, the YMCA, and the Washington Post Newspaper in Education.
