All American High School Baseball Classic
Aflac
All-American High School Baseball Classic:
Following the success of the McDonald's
All American Basketball Game and the Jordan
Classic on the hardcourt, Sports America
partnered with Aflac to launch the Aflac
All-American Baseball Game. Each summer,
the top high school prospects convene to
celebrate the game of baseball and to showcase
the top talent at the prep level. Through
partnerships with Baseball America, Perfect
Game USA and an endorsement by Major League
Baseball, it is truly the marquee event
for high school baseball players. The official

McDonald’s
All AmericanHigh School Basketball Games
Sports
America President & CEO Bob Geoghan
founded this high school all-star basketball
game 30 years ago. Since then it has been
played all over the country including at
New York's Madison Square Garden, Boston's
Fleet Center, Cleveland's Gund Arena, Duke
University's Cameron Indoor Stadium and
UCLA's Pauley Pavilion. Players such as
Michael Jordan, Shaquille O'Neal and Jason
Kidd were all McDonald's All Americans.
The Game has raised over $3 million for
Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Wooten Invitational Basketball Game
Morgan
Wootten Invitational: Sports America created
the Morgan Wootten Invitational in 1997
to benefit the Mid Atlantic Coalition on
Donation after legendary former DeMatha
High School basketball coach Morgan Wootten
received a life-saving liver transplant.
Each December, many of the top high school
teams participate in this one-day invitational.
Recent teams have included such stars as
Carmelo Anthony, Torin Francis, Michael
Sweetney, Julius Hodge and Rudy Gay.

Quarterback Club Banquet
National
Quarterback Club: In 1965, Bob Geoghan founded
The Quarterback Club of Washington, D.C.,
a non-profit organization. In the past few
years, he founded similar chapters in Baltimore
(1995) and Houston (2002), all falling under
the National Quarterback Club. Each chapter
holds monthly luncheons with NFL players,
culminating with annual Player-of-the-Year
award dinners. The NQBC also features the
acclaimed National Quarterback Awards Dinner
which has included Peyton Manning, Rich
Gannon, Jim Kelly, Brett Favre and John

Samaritan High School All Star Football
Game
Good
Samaritan Bowl: The Good Samaritan Bowl
was developed by Sports America to help
bring awareness for Washington Redskins
greats Art Monk and Charles Mann for their
Good Samaritan Foundation, a nonprofit youth
development organization with a focus on
higher education and leadership development.
The Good Samaritan Bowl features the top
high school football players in the Mid-Atlantic
area and will be played for the first time
in the summer of 2005 at the US Naval Academy
in Annapolis, MD. The event also features
a special dinner celebration in December
honoring the Art Monk Offensive Player-of-the-Year
and the Charles Mann Defensive Player-of-the-Year
award-winners.
